ICT WORKSHOP PRESENTATION (At Intsebenziswano)

Dear Colleagues

This blog is just about the way we (Thembela & Sibongile) prepared for the presentation of Teachers Without Borders ICT workshop report to the entire staff.

What is more encouraging for us to compile this report is that everybody (educators and learners) are as eager to utilize the skills that we are about to give to them as possible. Infact, we have started (implementation), opening e-mail accounts for our learners (only grade 12 learners) so far. The only thing that is that the only barrier so far is the lack of resources (computers) because of the fact that we have only one computer lab with 26 workstations for learners and one presentation PC.

But I gues that should not be the problem as we are going to have to put the ICT plan in place. I also think that this ICT integration idea is very challenging in the sense that our learners would need more exposure in computers, in as far as technology is concerned, not forgeting that less than a half of the staff are not computer literate, so that is a big challenge.

Looking forward to receiving those comments. I have also made another entry three weeks back, the address is thembela-goodbye.blogspot.com but I am quite sure that you may not have been able to access it because there are no comments yet.

Warmest Regards
Thembela Kima
